Kings of Cash Game Review

Theme and Plot

Kings of Cash is a Microgaming creation with a series revolving around royalty and hard currency. The game has a light-hearted approach toward the imagery of the reels, with card symbols brought to life by adding thrones, crowns, and swag bags. Though its theme is a bit thin, the overall tone of the game is not unappealing despite the limited variety of symbols and a velvet background hanging.

Visuals, Sounds and Animations

The graphics are relatively flawless, and the images on the reels have excellent design. However, it lacks the power to grab players' attention. The animations are also basic, with little élan. The spinning and winning sounds, as well as the limited background tracks, are good but not annoying, making Kings of Cash a balanced slot game.

Gameplay Mechanics

Kings of Cash adheres to the bog-standard five-reel layout, with three rows and 15 win-lines. The slot has two bonus types: a picking game and a free spin bonus. Both bonuses are solid additions to the game, which focuses on providing a great slot experience rather than re-inventing slot mechanics.

Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins

The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the two types of Scatter symbols. While the slot does not allow for multipliers in Wild symbol wins, the two Scatter symbols, the Dollar symbol and Crown symbol, do not need to be on a win-line for the player to win. Three or more Dollar symbols anywhere on the reels trigger a cash payout as well as a free spin bonus. A player who has five Dollar symbols can win ten times the bet and 25 free spins. Likewise, three Crown symbols anywhere also trigger a picking game. A player can earn up to 1000 times their bet if they hit all five Crown symbols.

Betting Options, RTP and Variance

The return to player in Kings of Cash is 96.60%. Betting ranges from a minimum of $/£/€0.20 per spin up to a maximum of $/£/€75.00 per spin. With its high volatility and RTP, Kings of Cash matches our slot machine preference for the highest possible volatility.

Final Verdict

Kings of Cash is a competently created slot game that meets expectations and does not overload the game with unnecessary features. Its visual and audio features are balanced but without pizazz, and its main attraction is its volatility and RTP. Given its balance, high volatility, and high RTP, Kings of Cash is a recommended experience for players using our slot machine strategy.
